In this area you can find more about the work that has been and continues to be done by Water Safety Scotland. Our outputs are driven by the two main targets set out in Scotland’s Drowning Prevention Strategy; to reduce the rate of accidental drowning fatalities by 50% by 2026 and reduce risk among the highest-risk populations, groups and communities, and to contribute to the reduction of water-based suicide.
