Water Safety Open Day 2026

World Drowning Prevention (WDP) Day is an international day that aims to raise awareness of the public health issue of drowning and highlight means of drowning prevention. For the fifth year in a row, Water Safety Scotland is set to host a Water Safety Open Day in support of WDP Day next year on the 25th of July. Due to the success of our event in the summer of 2024 and 2025, the Open Day will return to Loch Lomond Shores.

What to expect:

  • Water-based activities
  • Rescue Demonstrations
  • A wide variety of stands
  • A fun filled day with a plethora of learning opportunities
