Water Safety Open Day 2024

World Drowning Prevention (WDP) Day is an international day that aims to raise awareness of the public health issue of drowning and highlight means of drowning prevention.  For the third year in a row, Water Safety Scotland, alongside several of the organisation’s partners such as Scottish Water, SFRS, The Darcey Sunshine Foundation and RoSPA will be hosting a Water Safety Open day on the 25th of July in support of World Drowning Prevention Day. 

This year the Water Safety Open Day will take place at Loch Lomond Shores at the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The event will begin at 11am and finish at 4pm. No matter the weather, this day will be a fun and educational event for the whole family. So, pack your raincoat and your sunglasses and come down to Loch Lomond Shores to enjoy the water and learn about water safety.

  • Stands and information

Who can come along:

  • Everyone!!
  • Including dogs.
